Charis Behavioral Health is not an in-network provider. This allows for more creative, innovative and comprehensive care. We work with families to navigate their insurance benefits and offer options to remove barriers to participating in treatment.
Charis Behavioral Health treats kids ages 10-17.
No, Charis Behavioral Health does not provide inpatient residential treatment. We provide partial hospitalization & outpatient programming, which gives your child the opportunity to receive effective treatment during the day and return home in the evening.
Each child participates in one individual counseling session and one family counseling session each week during treatment.
Charis group sizes are small (6-8). Smaller groups allow for more time to focus on each child. This also helps to preserve our staff. This promotes better communication, documentation and treatment planning.
Children can utilize our transportation service while they are in treatment. Both pick up and drop off are provided by a Charis Behavioral Health staff member.
Through a partnership with your school, a certified teacher oversees the completion of daily assignments and completes the Education+ Plan. The +plan focuses on instruction and curriculum, and addresses issues such as performance/test anxiety and modifications that can be utilized when children return to typical education.
