Charis is a labor of love founded by people who care deeply about children. It is our mission to restore hope and empower children across Dallas-Fort Worth to discover their authentic sense of self. Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) & Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) utilize innovative treatment modalities with outcomes that have been measured and proven. Every clinical discussion and decision is rooted in grace, kindness and life, which sums up who we are and what we believe. It clarifies our primary goal: That each child is seen, heard and known.
A Dynamic, Family-Based Approach to IOP & PHP for Kids & Teens
At Charis we do PHP and IOP differently. Plus (+) means more, expanded and increased. Our PHP+ & IOP+ utilize an evidence-based, research-driven model that combines a comprehensive battery of assessments and state of the art technology to thoroughly uncover, understand and address the origins of your child’s presenting symptoms and behaviors. Simply said, we gather information to clearly see what is going on inside, then plan and treat your child accordingly. Because each child is unique, we provide many multifaceted therapeutic interventions that result in sustainable progress. Our treatment program is based on decades of professional experience that culminated a design that always puts kids first.
Help & Healing for a Generation Facing Unique Challenges
Our experienced team of master’s level clinicians in Dallas-Fort Worth work to understand the emotional challenges, addiction problems and behavioral issues of each child. Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) & Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offer a child the opportunity to receive effective treatment in a safe environment during the day (M-F) and then return home in the evenings. This structure allows for the skills cultivated during treatment to be implemented and practiced in real time, with continued support from the Charis Team. We know the entire family is affected when a child is struggling, and we are committed to be your allies in healing. We hope to facilitate change in each person in the family system allowing for a healthier home environment for everyone.
